上の写真は岡本綾子さんのスイングですが、
 
テイクバック時は右足一本を軸にする感じ、
フォロースルー時には左足1本を軸にする
ような感じになっています。
 
象徴的なのは両膝が前後にかなり動く部分であり
そうやって身体を回すのかと
この真似を一生懸命していました。
 
一方でNick Faldo。
彼はマスターズと全英オープンを各3勝。
まぎれもない名手です。
 
彼のレッスンビデオを見ていると
 

 
そう
膝を動かしてはダメ
さらにアマチュアの人に特に強調したいと。
 
前提だとか条件が何かあるのかもと
いろいろ考えてしまいます。
 
多くのプロは比較的
膝の動きを抑えているように見えます。
 
でも、岡本綾子さんは明らかに
交互に両膝を伸ばし、
軽やかに振っています。
 
ということは、これは些末のことであり、
もっと別の重要なことがあるのか？とか。
 
そして、私に出来るのはNick Faldoは
スロープレーヤーで有名だったし、
 
やっぱり自分の好きな岡本綾子で行こう
という他愛もない理由での選択だけです。
 
でも、こういう例がゴルフには
多すぎるような気がするんですよね。
 
昭和初期のゴルフ事情を記した書物にも
 
プロによって教えることが違って
どちらを信じたらいいのかわからない
 
という記載がありました。

90年前にも同じ疑問を持つ人がいた

どちらかが間違っているのか、
或いは、単なる流派の違いなのか？

On the other hand, there is Nick Faldo.

not let them move around.
