練習場で見かけた比較的年配の女性ゴルファー。
ゴルフ慣れした感じではあるけれど、
右腰がかなりスエーする。
 
でも、どこかで帳尻合わせをして
まっすぐ飛ばしているんだろうし、
それでそこそこのスコアなんだろうなあと。
 
何も部外者が言うことはありません。
 
そして、その女性が娘さんとおぼしき若い女性に
教え始めたのを見ていると、娘さんの右腰がスエー
していると身振り手振りで、指摘をする。
 
そこで初めて「右腰がスエーするのは
よくない」と知っているんだけど、
 
自分が相当ひどいスエーになっていることには
気付いていないんだと気が付きました。
 
これ、ゴルフの恐ろしさの一つですよねえ。
 
いろいろ知ってはいるんだけど、
自分で自分の姿を観察できませんので、
それを自分では気づけない⇒直せない。
 
ビデオで撮影してもらうという方法もあります
けど、自分ではさほど悪いとは思ってもいない
ため、面倒でなかなかやらないんですよねえ。
 
ビデオで撮影しもらって、
自分のフォームのひどさに驚く
というのは多くの方が経験されてます（多分）。
 
直したつもりのショットももう一度ビデオで撮影
してもらわないと、直っているのかがわからず、
本当にもう一人の自分が欲しいです。
 
もう一人の自分がいると勘違いが連鎖し、
とんでもないことになる可能性もありますが。

I saw a relatively elderly female golfer at the driving range.
She seemed used to playing golf, but her right hip swayed quite a bit to the right.
