中部ゴルフ連盟が昨年募集した川柳のうち、
マナー篇の入賞作品です。
 

 
後にプレーする人が不利になりかねないスポーツは
ゴルフだけです。だからこそ、フェアに戦うために
マナーが問われるのでしょう。
 
「ゴルフとは　次の人への　思いやり」
肝に銘じたいものです。

「ゴルフとは　次の人への　思いやり」
これは間違いないです。それしかないです。
 
ただ、「ボールマーク直し」「ピッチマーク直し」。
 
これって、それをしていない人への非難に使われる
ことが多く、それも問題だと思っています。
 
ボールマークを直す人、本当にレアです。
コース側としても、まず進行に気遣って頂き、
ボールマークは二の次でもと思っています。
 
自分のライン上にボールマークが残っていれば、
それを直すことは出来ますので。
 
マナーマナーと言うなら、自分がマナーを守って
いるにしても、他人のことをネットでああだこうだ
言わないこともマナーなんじゃないかなあと思います。

バンカーの 足跡残し 恥残し
Leave your mark in the bunker,
Leave your shame in the bunker
 
銀フォーク 持ってるだけなら ただの鉄
If you just have a fork, it’s just iron.
 
ゴルフとは 次の人への 思いやり
Golf is consideration for the next person
 
砂遊び 遊んだあとは お片付け
Playing in the sand Cleaning up after playing
 
Golf is the only sport where the person
playing later may be at a disadvantage.
 
That’s why manners are important to fight
fairly.

“Golf is consideration for the next person”
 
This is without a doubt. That’s all there
is to it.
However, “fixing ball marks” and “fixing
pitch marks”.
 
This is often used to criticize people
who don’t do it, and I think that’s also a
problem.
 
It’s really rare to find someone who fixes
their ball marks.
 
As a course owner, I would like you to be
considerate of the progress first, and ball
marks are secondary.
 
If there is a ball mark left on your line,
you can fix it.
 
If you’re talking about manners, I think
it’s also good manners not to say this and
that about other people on the internet,
even if you are following the manners yourself.
