フェアウエイもグリーンも
池に向かって傾斜をしていますので、
なるべく池を避けながら3onを狙っていくのが
メインルートとなります。
 
ティショットを少々しくじった場合は、
クリーク手前に刻み（赤2の辺り）、
そこから狙っていくのが第２の手段となります。
 
ただ、飛ばす人ですとか、
サッシーが池から姿を現した時に
その背中にボールを当てられる方には
2onのチャンスがあります。
 
図に記載しました１、２、３のドロップエリアは
競技時にのみ使用しています。
 
紛らわしいですが、通常のラウンド時には
一般的なウオーターハザードに入った時の処置を
取ってください。
 
なお、このホールでは
図のフェアウエイ②から戻ってクリークに入水、
グリーン上部からパットをして池に入水、
 
というケースがあります。
 
この時は入水地点から2クラブレングス以内で
グリーンに近づかない場所にドロップをして
ラウンドを継続して頂くのがよろしいかと。
 
最後に、黒ティ以外から眺めると、
必ず左の視界に池が入り、
ついつい力みにつながってしまいがちなのですが、
黒ティからは視界に池が入りません。
 
距離こそ一番ありますが、
打ちやすさでは黒ティが一番打ちやすいと思います。
まあ、ますます2onは困難になってきますが。
 
ちなみに「この池にはサッシーが棲んでいる。
俺は見た！」
と主張する人が数多くいますが、
 
「それはお前が池ポチャした時の水しぶきだ。」
と説明する人もいます。

Both the fairway and the green slope down towards the pond,
so the main route is to aim for a 3-on shot
while avoiding the pond as much as possible.
 
If you make a slight mistake with your tee shot,
your second option is to aim for the front of the creek (around red 2)
and then aim for the green from there.
 
However, those who can hit the ball far
or who can hit Sassy on her back when she emerges from the pond
have a chance to go 2-on.
 
Drop areas 1, 2, and 3 shown in the diagram are only used during competitions.
 
It may be confusing, but during a normal round,
you should follow the general procedures for entering a water hazard.
 
In addition, on this hole,
there are cases where the ball comes back from the fairway ② in the diagram and goes into the creek,
the ball goes into the pond after being putted from the top of the green.
 
In this case, it would be best to drop the ball within two club lengths of the water and not closer to the green, and continue your round.
 
Finally, when you look from anywhere other than the black tee,
the pond always comes into view on the left,
which can make you tense up,
but from the black tee you can’t see the pond.
 
Although it has the longest distance,
I think the black tees are the easiest to hit from.
Well, two-on is becoming more and more difficult.
